**Christina Floriza**

Hey there! I’m Christina Floriza. I’m an actor working primarily in NYC and DC, and am currently based in Washington, DC.

I am a DC area native, which is what all people from Maryland and Virginia say for non-locals.

I completed the training program at Washington Improv Theater in 2013, and have also taken electives in specific formats like Close Quarters. I have performed with indie teams Asian Moms and Kaleidoscope, and now currently play with WIT-featured ensemble Poetic Resistance.

In 2019, I was cast as a member of the WIT special project, The Feminine Experience. I have also studied at Studio Theatre in DC and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. I’ve also been lucky enough to perform in multiple festivals, including the Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament (FIST) - DC, Improvapalooza - DC, Capital Fringe Festival - DC, and the NY Improv Festival - NYC. I also made my stand-up debut in 2019!

When I’m not on stage, I binge everything about baking on Netflix, am snarky on Twitter, and I overanalyze texts with proper punctuation. I also have an MA in Philosophy with concentrations in Critical Race Theory and Feminist Theory. In other words, I can tell you why you need to blind-bake your pie crust, can tweet the perfect GIF to represent your mood, or identify the logical fallacies in your argument through the Socratic method, depending on your needs.
